Broad-spectrum preservative blend based on phenoxyethanol, reinforced with caprylyl glycol and sorbic acid.

This antimicrobial blend is composed of a balanced selection of active ingredients. Phenoxyethanol is known for its potent preservative effect. Caprylyl glycol acts as an amphiphilic enhancing agent, while sorbic acid is an organic acid widely used in food preservation. Evicide® PS 8 combines these three ingredients into a synergistic and highly effective blend.

Applications:

This mixture can be used to protect virtually any type of formulation, although it offers its best performance when the pH is below 6. Its solubility in water is limited, approximately up to 1.0%, but in the presence of glycols or surfactants it is possible to obtain clear solutions.
